Prachtige Noordzeeduik. Zicht eerder beperkt. Na de duik nog gezelschap gehad van een 5-tal tuimelaars die kwamen spelen rond de boot.

The SS Trifels was a German steamship which was sunk on September 8, 1944, by a torpedo strike. The ship lies at a depth of 36 meters, with the wheelhouse at 18 meters and the least deep point at 10 meters. The SS Trifels is 137 meters long and 17.22 meters wide. The wreck is beautifully overgrown with thousands of carnations, bagpipes and anemones.

Particulars

The SS Trifels lies in the English Channel off Dunkirk. The wreck is accessible only by boat. Descend via the anchor line to explore this ancient steamship.

The SS Trifels is only suitable for advanced wreck divers. There may be fishing nets on the wreck.
